Ah, the things we say to and about our children! I was on the phone with my brother this weekend and I overheard him say to his 3yr old:
“No, son, don’t go out there yet. That bulldozer driver doesn’t want any help from little boys with poop in their pants. Go to the bathroom first!”
(My brother is building a house right now. His son loves to “help” the family friend who is clearing their land.)
