I think the use of video and drama largely is a token of unbelief in the power of preaching.

Read the whole thing. Not only because he’s right, but because he distinguishes well between biblical command and personal practice.

  1. One of Sasha Flek’s ideas here: do a Friday night dramatic interpretation of Job and then pass out the book of Job to people on their way out. His quote that I love: “Czechs don’t listen to theology, they listen to art.” But I too am for keeping them relatively separate and using art/drama/music as a springboard to getting people to church.
